NCDOT Will Close A Section Of Beatties Ford Road In Mecklenburg County For Bridge Replacement Work Monday, June 02, 2014


CHARLOTTE – Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of Beatties Ford Road over McIntyre Creek in Charlotte at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 12. The closure is necessary to replace the existing bridge.


During the closure, traffic will be detoured from Beatties Ford Road to Sunset Road to Reames Road to Lakeview Road back to Beatties Ford Road. The project is scheduled for completion September 17.


NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
