NCDOT Will Replace Bridge On Pine Oak Road In Union County Thursday, May 29, 2014

Detour will be in place for motorists

 

CHARLOTTE – Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Pine Oak Road in Waxhaw at 9 a.m. Monday, June 2 to replace the existing bridge over Twelve Mile Creek.

 

The project is scheduled to be completed September 29, requiring motorists to follow a posted detour along Waxhaw-Marvin Road, Waxhaw Highway, Providence Road (N.C. 16) back to Pine Oak Road.

 

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
