Bridge Maintenance to Temporarily Close High Rock Road in Guilford County Friday, March 28, 2014

RALEIGH —Next week, the N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of High Rock Road in McLeansville for routine maintenance of the bridge over Buffalo Creek.

On Monday, March 31, weather permitting, crews will close High Rock Road near Huffine Mill Road. This section of High Rock Road will remain closed for the duration of the work, which is expected to be completed by Friday, April 4.

Local traffic will be able to access homes and businesses from either end of High Rock Road, but will not be able to pass beyond the closure points on either side of Buffalo Creek. During the closure, motorists will use Friedens Church Road, McIntyre Road and Huffine Mill Road to navigate around the work zone.  A map of the detour route can be seen here.
