Nightly Lane Closures on U.S. 421 Bridge over Cape Fear River in New Hanover County Begin Monday Thursday, March 27, 2014

RALEIGH – One lane, in both directions, on the U.S. 421 bridge over the Cape Fear River in Wilmington will have nightly lane closures beginning Monday, March 31 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to perform bridge preservation and will last through July 1. This work is part of a $3.9 million project awarded in November 2012.
