DMV Sets Special Rescheduled Visits to Robbinsville, Hayesville, Columbus Area Wednesday, February 12, 2014

Inclement weather cancelled routine visits


RALEIGH — The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced today that due to cancellations of its mobile unit’s scheduled stops in Robbinsville, Hayesville and Columbus this week because of icy weather, its unit will make special rescheduled stops in all three locations.


The unit is scheduled to return to Robbinsville on Feb. 25, Hayesville on Feb. 26, and Columbus on Feb. 27. The unit’s hours and locations are as follows:



196 Knight St.

8:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m.



1 Riverside Circle

9 a.m.-3 p.m.



130 Ward St.

9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.


Driver license mobile offices administer sign tests, written tests and road tests to qualify applicants for a North Carolina driver license. They also issue North Carolina identification cards.
