DMV Sets Special Rescheduled Visits to Columbia, Swan Quarter Area Wednesday, February 12, 2014


Inclement weather cancelled routine visits


RALEIGH — The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced today that due to cancellations of its mobile unit scheduled stops in Columbia and Swan Quarter this week because of icy weather, its unit will make special rescheduled stops in both locations.


The unit is scheduled to return to Columbia, Feb. 26, and to Swan Quarter on Feb. 27.

The unit will be located at 403 Main St. in Columbia and open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will also be open 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 11 Main St. in Swan Quarter.


Driver license mobile offices administer sign tests, written tests and road tests to qualify applicants for a North Carolina driver license. They also issue North Carolina identification cards.
