Maintenance Work Begins on Three in Duplin County Bridges Monday Thursday, January 02, 2014

RALEIGH —Work is scheduled to begin Monday, Jan. 6 on an N.C. Department of Transportation project to replace the joints on three bridges in Duplin County.
 
Intermittent lane closures will be in place along I-40 East and West at U.S. 117 (Exit 369) daily from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 6-10, 13-17 and 21-24, weather permitting.

In addition, crews will have intermittent lane closures on the N.C. 903 bridge over I-40 during the following dates and times:
• 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Jan. 6-31; and
• 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 11-12, 18-19 and 26-27.
 
This work is part of a $188,898 project awarded to Proshot Concrete, Inc . and is expected to be complete by Feb. 1.
