NCDOT will temporarily close ramp from I-77 South to I-85 South in Charlotte Friday morning Tuesday, November 05, 2013

CHARLOTTE – Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close the ramp from I-77 South to I-85 South (Exit 13B) from midnight to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8. The closure is necessary so crews can safely repair an overhead sign on I-85 South approaching Beatties Ford Road (Exit 37).

Motorists should follow the temporary detour from I-77 South to LaSalle Street (Exit 12), turn left to cross over the interstate back to I-77 North, then take exit 13B to access I-85 South.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
