RALEIGH —The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the bridge on N.C. 130 in Holden Beach on Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. until noon.
The bridge is being closed for a parade celebrating the Holden Beach Festival by the Sea. The bridge will reopen following the parade. This is the 37th year for the festival.
Both the Brunswick County Sheriff Department and Holden Beach Police Department will be on hand to ensure the safety of the public.
