DMV Changes Schedules To Bring Mobile Unit to Northeastern North Carolina Towns Wednesday, October 16, 2013


RALEIGH – In keeping with its revised schedule announced last month, the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is continuing to provide mobile unit service to areas in northeastern North Carolina,


The Division remains committed to continuing service to customers. Mobile unit service will continue in towns on the unit’s route through the remainder of October. The new schedule was developed to allow relief units from other locales to deliver driver license service while the local unit undergoes repairs.


DMV mobile service will be provided to the following localities during the remainder of October:


Currituck, Oct. 16, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Plymouth, Oct. 18, 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Columbia, Oct. 21, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Jackson, Oct. 28, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Swan Quarter, Oct. 29, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Hatteras, Oct. 30, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Ocracoke, Oct. 31, 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
