RALEIGH — A new Chapel Hill license plate agency will open for business Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 1704-B E. Franklin St. Agency contractor Bruce Farmer is re-establishing an LPA in the area, replacing one which closed almost a year ago.

The new LPA will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number for the agency is (919) 942-4972.

LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, about 120 license plate agencies operate across North Carolina.
