Bridge Inspections to Close Lanes on Bridges in Brunswick County Wednesday, September 04, 2013

RALEIGH —The N.C. Department of Transportation will conduct routine inspections on three bridges in Brunswick County beginning Monday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept 20, weather permitting.
 
The inspections will require daily weekday intermittent lane closures between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on these Intracoastal Waterway bridges:
  • Bridge on N.C. 133 in Oak Island;
  • Bridge on N.C. 904 in Ocean Isle; and
  • Bridge on N.C. 130 in Holden Beach.
Motorists should plan for extra time crossing the bridges and use caution in the area.
