Currituck-Knotts Island Ferry To Suspend Operations July 26-28 For Vessel & Ramp Maintenance Monday, July 22, 2013


MANNS HARBOR – North Carolina Ferry service between Currituck and Knotts Island will be temporarily suspended July 26,27, and 28 for scheduled maintenance at both ferry terminals and on board the M/V Cape Point.


The repair procedures include replacing wire rope on the ramps at both the Currituck and Knotts Island ferry terminals, and performing all necessary maintenance, repairs and wiring on the Cape Point. The required maintenance is expected to take three days.


Normal ferry operations are expected to resume on the route at 6 a.m. July 29.
