Ocracoke-Cedar Island Routes Suspended due to Mechanical Issues with MV Cedar Island Saturday, June 08, 2013

MANNS HARBOR – The N.C. Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division has suspended normal operations on two ferry routes this afternoon due to mechanical issues with the MV Cedar Island.

The 1 p.m. Ocracoke-Cedar Island and 4 p.m. Cedar Island-Ocracoke routes will not take place. Crews are working to resume operations as soon as possible.
