NCDOT will close a section of Cameron Briley Road in Anson County for bridge replacement project Thursday, May 30, 2013

 

CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of Cameron Briley Road in Anson County at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, weather permitting. Contractor R.E. Burns and Sons Inc. will start a $505,000 project to replace the bridge over Canes Creek, northeast of Polkton.

 

Traffic will be detoured around the project from Cameron Briley Road to Winfield Road to N.C. 742 to Cameron Road back to Cameron Briley Road.  

 

The contractor has until September 28 to complete the bridge replacement, and can continue vegetation reestablishment work through March 26, 2014.
