WHAT: N.C. Governor’s Highway Safety Program to kick off “Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month”

Local law enforcement agencies will join N.C. Governor’s Highway Safety Program Director Becky Wallace and a member of the Raleigh Police Department’s Command staff as they kick off May as “Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.”
In addition, Cap. Tim Tomzack will discuss the 2nd annual BikeSafe NC Motor Skills competition that will take place May 2-6 in Raleigh. During the BikeSafe NC Motor Skills competition, approximately 25 police motor officers from across the state will come together to exhibit their skills through a friendly competition in a variety of motorcycle skills courses.
