Unit expected to be back in service by April 8
RALEIGH – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles has announced that the mobile unit serving locations in northeastern North Carolina remains under repair and cannot make its scheduled stops the week of April 1.
Dates and locations closed during the repairs include:
· April 1, Scotland Neck
· April 2, Windsor
· April 3, Gatesville
· April 4, Currituck
The division anticipates repairs to the mobile unit to be complete by April 8 and expects the unit to resume its normal schedule during that week, making stops in Jackson, Plymouth, Columbia and Swan Quarter.
NCDMV mobile units take driver license services to remote areas of the state, offering original and renewal license issuance, written, sign and road testing.
