NCDOT will close a section of Lentz Harness Shop Road in Cabarrus County for bridge replacement project Wednesday, March 20, 2013

CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Lentz Harness Shop Road in Mount Pleasant in Midland at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 28, weather permitting. Contractor J.T. Russell and Sons will start a $488,000 project to replace the bridge over a branch of Little Bear Creek.

 

A detour will be posted for motorists from Lentz Harness Shop Road to N.C. 73 to Finger Road to Bear Creek Road back to Lentz Harness Shop Road. The bridge replacement is scheduled to be completed June 1, and the contractor can continue vegetation and reforestation work through Nov. 28.
