RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will close Stokes Ferry Road between Agner Road and Liberty Road northeast of Rockwell in Rowan County beginning Monday, March 11 at 8 a.m. through Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m. The closure is necessary for crews to complete repairs to the Stokes Ferry Road bridge over High Rock Lake.
During the closure, motorists traveling southeast on Stokes Ferry Road should turn left on Agner Road, right on Brinkle Ferry Road and right on St. Matthews Church Road. Motorists traveling northwest on Stokes Ferry Road should turn right on St. Matthews Church Road, left on Brinkle Ferry Road and left on Agner Road.
