NCDOT will close a section of Troutman Road in Cabarrus County for bridge replacment project Wednesday, March 06, 2013

 

CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Troutman Road in Midland at 9 a.m. Monday, March 11, weather permitting. Contractor J.T. Russell and Sons will start a $384,500 project to replace the bridge over a branch of Muddy Creek.

 

A detour will be posted for motorists from Troutman Road to Jim Sossoman Road to U.S. 601 to Cal Bost Road back to Troutman Road. The bridge replacement is scheduled to be completed June 1, and the contractor can continue vegetation and reforestation work through Nov. 28.

 

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
