|Lane Closures Tonight, Next Week on Triangle Expressway

RALEIGH — Overnight lane closures will take place tonight, March 4 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the U.S. 64 ramp to N.C. 540 North on the Triangle Expressway.
However, lane closures previously scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, have been postponed until next week due to predicted wet weather.
The new schedule for lane closures that will take place from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the following nights is as follows:
• Monday, March 11: One lane of N.C. 147 South to Hopson Road ramp;
• Tuesday, March 12: One lane of N.C. 147 South to N.C. 540 eastbound ramp;
• Wednesday, March 13: Two lanes of N.C. 540 East to N.C. 147; and
• Thursday, March 14: Two lanes of N.C. 540 West to N.C. 147.
The lane closures are necessary for N.C. Department of Transportation crews to perform routine work to clean and adjust cameras as well as inspect tolling equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. At least one lane will remain open each night.
