Bridge Replacement Project to Begin Monday on Strickland Bridge Road in Cumberland County Tuesday, February 26, 2013

RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin replacing the bridge on Strickland Bridge Road between Dundle Road and Fisher Road near Hope Mills on Monday, March 4.

 

The bridge will be closed to traffic for a year.

 

Motorists traveling this section of Strickland Bridge Road should use the following signed detour:

 

·         Dundle Road to Stoney Point Road to Lakewood Drive to Fisher Road back to Strickland Bridge Road.

 

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch for the road closure signs, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
