Frost Mill Creek Bridge Replacement Project to Begin Wednesday in Davie County Monday, February 25, 2013

Will require the closure of Angell Road for 90 days

RALEIGH – Crews will begin replacing the Angell Road bridge over Frost Mill Creek north of Mocksville on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The work will require the closure of Angell Road in both directions, starting at 7 a.m. The road will remain closed until Wednesday, May 29, at 5 p.m. when the project is scheduled to be complete.

The closure will begin about 1.4 miles from the intersection of Angell Road and Woodward Road. The N.C. Department of Transportation will set up the following detour route at that point to guide motorists around the work zone:

Take Angell Road to Cana Road to Woodward Road back to Angell Road.

Drivers are encouraged to go slow, pay attention to construction-related signs and allow extra time to reach their destinations safely.
