Left Turns Restricted at Airlie Road in Wrightsville Beach Next Week to Ease Congestion Friday, February 22, 2013

RALEIGH – In an effort to ease congestion on Wrightsville Avenue (U.S. 74/76) in Wrightsville Beach, the N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily restrict left turns on and off Airlie Road beginning next week.

The left turn restrictions were requested by the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Town of Wrightsville Beach to improve traffic flow near the bridge until all four lanes are open to traffic.
