NCDOT to Repair Bridge on Sartin Road in Burlington in Alamance County Tuesday, February 19, 2013

RALEIGH -- The N.C. Department of Transportation will close Sartin Road in Burlington in Alamance County on at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25 to replace the bridge over Prong Stoney Creek.

Sartin Road will be closed to through traffic between Stoney Creek Church Road and Kerr’s Chapel Road until June 18, when the project is expected to be complete.

During the closure, motorists should use this detour route:

•    Sartin Road to Stoney Creek Church Road to Pagetown Road to Kerr’s Chapel Road to Sartin Road.

Motorists should allow extra travel time to their destination.  NCDOT urges motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
