All Lanes of I-40 West in Greensboro Reopened After Multi-Vehicle Crash Thursday, February 14, 2013

RALEIGH All westbound lanes of I-40 in Guilford County have reopened after being closed for several hours following a crash involving a tractor trailer and at least nine other vehicles.  

The crash occurred at 7:30 a.m. and resulted in no major injuries. The tractor trailer was carrying steel construction pipes and overturned in the crash.  A crane was required to remove the 30- to 40-foot pipes from the roadway. Authorities reopened the interstate just after 2 p.m.
