NCDOT to Close Brown Road in Orange County for Bridge Replacement Friday, January 04, 2013

 
RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of Brown Road in Orange County on Monday, Jan. 7 to replace the bridge over the North Fork Little River. The closure will remain in effect through Wednesday, April 17. 
 
Brown Road will be closed from Laws Store Road to Breeze Road.  During the closure, motorists should use the following signed detour:
  • Brown Road to Laws Store Road to Walnut Grove Church Road to Breeze Road back to Brown Road.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
