NCDOT will Close Two Lanes on U.S. 74 East in Charlotte Sunday Night Friday, December 07, 2012

 

 

CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close two of three lanes on Independence Boulevard (U.S. 74) East near the Pecan Avenue overpass from 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, until 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, weather permitting. The lane closures are necessary for bridge maintenance operations.

 

Crews will continue maintenance work each night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday morning, Dec. 13.

 

To avoid delays, motorists can take Central Avenue or Monroe Road as alternate routes.

 

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
