NCDOT to Close Alamance Church Road in Guilford County for Bridge Replacement Wednesday, November 21, 2012

RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close Alamance Church  Road between Garret Store Road/Sawyer Road and N.C. 62 in Guilford County to replace the bridge over Stinking Quarter Creek. Weather permitting, Alamance Church Road will close on Monday, Nov. 26 and is expected to reopen by Tuesday, March 26, 2013.  

Motorists should use the following signed detour:
  • Alamance Church Road to N.C. 62 to Ferguson Road to Garrett Store Road back to Alamance Church Road.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
