RALEIGH — Traffic will be
shifted on Brawley School Road in Mooresville between Williamson Road and the
intersection of Talbert Road/Sunfish Road on the eastern side of Interstate 77 starting
Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. as part of the widening project.
In preparation for final paving and
lane marking, which will begin next spring, westbound traffic currently on the
two-lane road will be shifted on the other side of the median. This means there
will be one lane of traffic flowing on each side of the median.
Also, as part of this traffic shift,
vehicles traveling to the signalized intersection of Rolling Hills Road onto Brawley
School Road will get a new white striped stop bar about 25 feet from the
intersection to help control traffic turns and flow.
