NCDOT to Close Lane on Oak Island Bridge from Oct. 2 through Oct. 4 Tuesday, September 25, 2012

RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close one of two lanes on the Oak Island Bridge in Brunswick County each day from Oct. 2 through Oct. 4 for routine inspections.

The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Tuesday, Oct. 2, Wednesday, Oct. 3, and Thursday, Oct. 4.

One lane will remain open to accommodate northbound and southbound traffic throughout the work periods. Flagging crews will be on hand to direct the flow of traffic.
