RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a design public hearing on Monday, Aug. 20, regarding the proposed replacement of the bridge on N.C. 24/210/Rowan Street over Hillsboro Street in downtown Fayetteville.
The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, located at 100 Bragg Blvd.in Fayetteville.
Residents are invited to drop in and speak individually with NCDOT representatives, as well as review the project area map. Representatives will answer questions and receive comments about the proposed project. There will not be a formal presentation.
The department is proposing to replace the bridge that carries N.C. 24/210/Rowan Street over the CSX Railroad, Norfolk Southern Railroad and Hillsboro Street in downtown Fayetteville. Also, the project includes reconfiguring the N.C. 24/210/Rowan Street intersections with Bragg Blvd. and Murchison Road into a single signalized intersection.
