Nighttime Concrete Paving this Week on N.C. 540 in Wake County Monday, July 30, 2012

RALEIGH — Nighttime paving will continue on the unopened section of N.C. 540 from U.S. 64 to Apex Barbeque Road beginning tonight, Monday, July 30 at 7 p.m. through Saturday, Aug. 4 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The high daytime temperatures require this concrete work be completed at night to ensure quality pavement. The neighborhoods of Scotts Mill, Kelly Glen and Ashley Downs could hear noise during construction.
