Some Ferry Runs on Pamlico Sound Cancelled Today Wednesday, July 25, 2012


 
MANNS HARBOR - Due to problems with two of its vessels, the N.C. Department of Transportation Ferry Division has cancelled several runs on the Pamlico Sound route today and there could also be cancellations Thursday.

For today, the following departures are cancelled:
•    The 1p.m. and 2 p.m. from Ocracoke to Cedar Island; and
•    The 4 p.m. from Cedar Island to Ocracoke.

To accommodate traffic, the following runs will take place:
•    The 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. (delay of the 5:30 p.m.) departures from Cedar Island:
•    The 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (delay of the 8 p.m.) departures from Ocracoke to Cedar Island;
•    The 4 p.m. departure from Ocracoke to Swan Quarter; and
•    The 4:30 p.m. departure from Swan Quarter to Ocracoke.
