Gov. Perdue to Speak at the I-85 Yadkin River Bridge Opening Announcement in Rowan County Wednesday, May 2, 2012

Gov. Bev Perdue will announce the opening of the new I-85 Yadkin River Bridge on Thursday in Salisbury. 

The new I-85 Yadkin River Bridge is part of the $201.5 million I-85 Corridor Improvement Project, the state’s top mobility project. This was the first project funded by Gov. Perdue’s Mobility Fund. She proposed its creation as a way to generate the money needed to pay for critical transportation projects of regional or statewide significance.
