Nightly Lane Closures on U.S. 64 in Apex Begin this Week Monday, April 23, 2012

RALEIGH — One lane in each direction of U.S. 64 will be closed between N.C. 55 and Kellyridge Drive in Apex beginning tonight, April 23 through Saturday, April 28 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The closures are necessary as the contractor for the Western Wake Freeway removes concrete barrier wall.

One lane will remain open in each direction.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
