Bridge on Mitchell Mill Road in Wake County closed for maintenance repairs Tuesday, March 20, 2012

RALEIGH The Mitchell Mill Road Bridge over the Little River east of Rolesville will be temporarily closed starting today to allow bridge crews to make needed repairs. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place through the weekend, with the bridge open for traffic again by Monday, March 26.

A 3 ½-mile detour is in place that will have motorists using Pulley Town Road, Barham Siding Road and N.C. 96 to get around the closure.
