RALEIGH — The Mitchell
Bridge over the Little
River east of Rolesville will be temporarily closed starting today to allow bridge crews to
make needed repairs. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place through
the weekend, with the bridge open for traffic again by Monday, March 26.
A 3 ½-mile detour is in place that will have motorists using Pulley
Town Road, Barham Siding Road and N.C. 96 to get around the closure.
