One Entrance to Ashley Downs Subdivision on Olive Chapel Road in Apex to be Closed This Weekend Thursday, February 23, 2012

RALEIGH — Contractors will temporarily close one of two entrances to the Ashley Downs subdivision on Olive Chapel Road beginning Friday, Feb, 24 at 9 a.m. until Sunday, Feb. 26 at 9 p.m., weather permitting.

The neighborhood entrance closest to Olive Chapel Elementary school will be closed as crews install drainage pipes at the intersection of Olive Chapel Road and Ashley Downs Drive and begin grading and curb work on the new portion of Olive Chapel Road.

The easternmost entrance will remain open.

Once the intersection is reopened, traffic will be shifted onto the new bridge over N.C. 540.
