Right Lane Closing for Repair Work Below Farmington Road Bridge Tuesday on Westbound I-40 in Davie County Thursday, January 26, 2012

RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane of westbound I-40 at the Farmington Road overpass in Davie County on Tuesday, Jan. 31, while crews do repairs under the bridge.

Barring inclement weather, NCDOT crews will be repairing concrete caps and columns under the bridge between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in the area, especially as they enter and exit the highway at Exit 174.
