RALEIGH — The N.C. Board of Transportation will hold its August meeting in NCDOT’s Transportation Division 3 from Wednesday, Aug. 3 to Thursday, Aug. 4.
In addition to the Board’s regular meeting, members will tour the N.C. State Port Authority. They will also tour the new Wave Transit (Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority) Forden Station in Wilmington. To access the full agenda, click here.
This is the first out-of-town board meeting this year. The purpose of holding the meetings across the state is to enable the members of the Board to see transportation projects in the communities where they occur, to hear suggestions and concerns related to transportation policy, and gain more specific insight into emerging transportation trends and patterns that have the potential to impact all areas of the state.
