RALEIGH - The N.C. Board of Transportation will hold its July meeting in NCDOT’s Transportation Division 2 on Wednesday, June 30 and Thursday, July 1.

In addition to the Board’s regular meeting, members will tour several area highway projects and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, as well as hear presentations from representatives of area Metropolitan and Rural Planning Organizations, the Highway 17 Commission and the military. They also will attend the SpiritAero Systems grand opening at the Global Transpark in Kinston. To access the full agenda, click here: Attachment.

This is the first of an expected series of board meetings to be held across the state.  The purpose is to enable the members of the Board to see transportation projects in the communities where they occur, to hear suggestions and concerns related to transportation policy, and gain more specific insight into emerging transportation trends and patterns that have the potential to impact all areas of the state.
