NCDOT to Hold Citizens’ Update Meeting on Improvements to High Point Road Monday, November 05, 2012

RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 8, on planned improvements to High Point Road between Groometown Road in Greensboro and Vickery Chapel Road in Jamestown.

NCDOT plans to widen High Point Road from two lanes to four lanes divided with a median. In addition, a Diverging Diamond interchange will be constructed at I-73 and High Point Road. It will be the first interchange of this type in Guilford County.

The meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jamestown United Methodist Church, located at 403 E. Main St., Jamestown. NCDOT representatives and the contractor will be on hand to answer questions about the project and construction sequence.
