NCDOT is now providing a one stop shop for telecommunications infrastructure developers, providers, and carriers to locate wireless facilities on North Carolina transportation related properties. Currently, NCDOT has 500 facilities statewide which may suit the needs of the industry. New standard rates and charges have been developed to provide market based access to statewide coverage. NCDOT has also developed a new expedited approval and documentation process.
